Canadian Championships Postponed
Please be advised that the Canadian National Championships to be held in Quebec City (November) has been postponed to the spring due to the change in date of the ITF World Championships to October 2013.

Hot Dog Sale Fundraiser, May 5th
Our friends at CJV Carpet One (the Mercier Family) will be teaming up with Sundance for a fundraiser on May 5th at their location on 29th Street. We need volunteers to help man the grill and serve our hungry customers. All proceeds will go to helping our members travel and compete in tournaments. Sundance Instructors and Assistant Instructors Attend the 72nd IIC in Vancouver
We just completed the 72nd International Instructors Course in beautiful Vancouver. What an amazing event! Lots of new drills and technical updates to share with our members. The Grand Masters and Masters were incredible to learn from and very knowledgeable. Our members representing our school did an amazing job and I could not be more proud. Congratulations Mr. Leung, Mr. Rock, Miss Kinniburgh and Miss Bowie who completed the course. If you have never attended an IIC, don’t wait too long and miss out, it really was amazing! If you are wondering what it’s all about, just ask someone who was there. Also, a big thank you to our master, Master Barker for your technical guidance and support of our efforts. Congratulations to Mrs. Mary Pitsch, a Northern TKD member, and student of Master Barker who was promoted to the rank of 5th degree black belt at the age of 74 years young. She has proven that anything is possible when you follow your dreams and work hard and I am truly inspired by this wonderful lady.
